Issues
Safe and Complete Streets
We need to design streets for our community not for throughput, safety and quality of life must be prioritized over level of service. For too long traffic engineers and city planners have disregarded community concerns and emerging evidence to design a transportation network that is not safe or efficient and harms our quality of life. We need a built environment that makes our streets safe for not just motorist but also people riding bicycles, walking and using mass transit.
Lower cost of living
There are opportunities to cut wasteful spending and lower taxes specifically regressive taxes such as sales and property tax that disproportionately affect low income residents and the working class.
Transparent and Responsive Government
Our elected officials should be dedicated to responding to community concerns quickly and taking action to meet the needs of our residents.
